Discover the creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship of Los Angeles middle school youth!
Powered by the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, Spark LA’s Discovery Night will take place at the iconic Dodger Stadium, bringing together students, mentors, educators, families, corporate leaders, and community members in a “science fair” style free citywide event, reminding us all what it means to discover our passions!
Discovery Night will feature the learning and achievement of hundreds of Los Angeles students and mentors, from leading companies like Google, Cornerstone OnDemand, TrueCar, Hulu, Capital Group, and many more. As featured in the Los Angeles Times, Discovery Night gives students a chance to share their learning and achievements, explore new career possibilities, and cap off a successful Spark year.
For ten weeks, students have traveled to their mentors’ workplaces to collaborate on an interest-driven project — like building a website, writing a business plan, or designing a stadium for their favorite sports team. Now that they’ve finalized their projects and rehearsed their pitches, they’re ready to present. Join Spark and our partners in discovering the talent of tomorrow!
