On June 2, 2017, Spark will host Discovery Day - a citywide event featuring the learning and achievement of hundreds of Chicago Public Schools students and mentors from top companies like Google, KPMG, Tyson Foods, West Monroe Partners, and many more.
Join Spark and the City of Chicago in discovering the talent of tomorrow as our youth present new business ideas, display custom-built robots, and so much more! The event is open to the public and attendees include Spark students & families, mentors, companies, philanthropists, educators, city officials & district representatives.

Spark is a national non-profit organization that provides life-changing mentorships to middle school youth in underserved communities in Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and the San Francisco Bay Area. We re-engage seventh and eighth grade students in their education, keeping them on track and ready for success in high school and beyond through workplace-based apprenticeships that uniquely combine mentoring, project-based learning, skill building and career exploration.
